Beaded Row Extensions (weft/hand-tied)
This Method is extremely popular in todays world, I’m sure it’s what you’ve been seeing all over your social media. You may have even heard this method as “hand-tied extensions” - while its not completely wrong “hand-tied extensions” are a type of extensions not a method.
I am certified in three different beaded row methods and this allows my clients to be able to have their weft extensions to be customized to the method that’s most suitable for you for and your specific needs.
— Key Factors
A Beaded Row or — The Foundation, is created utilizing beads, thread and your own hair to create a solid and healthy foundation, for your hair + scalp as you will then have wefts sewn onto the foundation. Density must always match density when installing extensions to ensure the health snd integrity of your hair and scalp.
Keratin Individual Extensions (K-tips)
Keratin or ”K-tip” Extensions are individual pre-bonded strands of hair that are taken individually and bonded to your hair utilizing a heating tool to bond them to your natural hair. As an experienced and extensively trained k-tip artist I take pride in knowing that my guests hair and scalp with have the little to no damage after installation and wear time if taken care of properly.
Key Points—
Due to the individual bonds being bonded to your hair strands, all while having 360 Degree movement. This Provides the ultimate comfort and customization for guests.
I love to utilize “baby” or “micro bonds
to fill in those pesky spots around the hairline. They are seamless and virtually undetectable, and the maintenance for these extensions is a longer span of time than any other method. On average they last from 3-5 months.
As with all extension methods proper home-care is imperative. On my new clients install day I gift you an “extension starter kit” with lots of necessary products you will need in order to maintain the integrity of your extensions and your own hair. You will leave the salon with your hair extension after care kit. a how to care for your extensions card to take home with you, as well as hands on knowledge of proper care and styling to ensure guests will be set as soon as you leave the salon.
*Other necessary products will likely be recommended that do not come with the complimentary kit you will receive.
Tape-in Extensions
Tape in extensions are a method of extensions that utilizes a small “weft” of hair that is usually made into about an inch to an inch and a half wide pieces the extension hair comes pre-tapped is then taped directly onto your in either a sandwich or a single is applied. These types of extensions can be Re taped up to seven times and are usually fairly quick to install and remove then re-tape and reuse - these are ideal for clients who want to try hair extensions out, or want some to fill in gaps in their natural hair. They are a great option due to their reusability, this makes them somewhat more cost effective than other methods.
Key Factors—
*there are many different options should you need or choose to use tape-in extensions such as;
invisible tapes have hair all the way up to the edge and look extremely natural when installed.
Original tapes where there is a clear band that’s fairly undetectable at the very top of the extension
Mini tapes for around the hair line areas.
These extensions if applied properly should move seamlessly up and down and should feel comfortable and secure.
— Tapes can be re-taped up to 3 times if properly maintained and the maintenance time between move ups is 6-8 weeks.
